Mardi Gras Hits the Streets of Avon, Ohio, with a Parade of Duct Tape
Juggling jesters and marvelous masked marchers made their way through Avon, Ohio, on the morning of June 20 in a parade honoring the Sixth-Annual Avon Heritage Duct Tape Festival, held annually over Father's Day weekend to celebrate all things duct tape. The parade of more than 20 floats made by local businesses and organizations with Duck Tape(R) brand duct tape rolled from Avon High School to Veteran's Memorial Park, ending at the site of this year's festivities.

Even though the Mardi Gras party in New Orleans will be over, the Avon Heritage Duct Tape Festival will keep the fun going with a Mardi Gras theme to celebrate the sixth year of this annual event. The festival will kick-off over Father's Day Weekend, starting Friday, June 19, at 4 p.m. at Veteran's Memorial Park in Avon, Ohio.
